Observation Peak

After regrouping in Calgary for two days and dropping some film off for processing, I decided with good weather in the forecast to head to the Icefields Parkway and climb some big mountains. Observation Peak (3174M) provided the first challenge. The ascent was straightforward, and the light was spectacular.

After returning from the summit, I put my sandals on and joined the masses at Peyto Lake.  Here are the runoff flats from the terminal moraine into the lake
