Mount Kearsarge North

Mount Kearsarge North (3,268 ft) is a peak prominently visible from the town of North Conway, NH. Despite poor and icy conditions in the surrounding area, the trail was hard packed snow with patches of ice nearing the summit along the 5km Kearsarge North Trail. The view from the top is superb, and the fire tower makes for a great shelter from the wind and a place to enjoy a soup or snack in winter. Be sure to arrive early in order to get a good parking spot for this popular hike.

I received a Garmin GPS watch for Christmas this year (thanks Jessica), so I tested it out on this quick jaunt
